Today is T-REx 2nd birthday! To celebrate, they’re holding an event this evening at Prime 1000 Steakhouse (10th & Washington) where they’ll be announcing their upcoming big move to the Lammert building. T-REx is a project of St. Louis Regional Chamber, Downtown Community Improvement District and the City of St. Louis.

In September 2011, T-REx opened as, “A coworking space and technology incubator, we offer a blank canvas—a space where ideas are conceived and brought to fruition. We’ve worked to create an environment that serves as a network of creativity, where abstraction finds clarity amongst a collection of bright and dedicated minds.”

In the matter of two years, T-REx has grown rapidly and is now home to more than 75 companies, accelerators, support orgs and funds, such as Hatchbuck, Food Essentials, & Juristat.

Not only do they play a big part in St. Louis’ evolving startup ecosystem, but they also attract innovation to downtown St. Louis. It’s a space that facilitates collaboration and growth among startups through their collaborative spaces, by hosting events, and much more. Some of the companies they’ve partnered with are iTEN, Capital Innovators, Cultivation Capital, SixThirty, Arch Grants and other entrepreneurial activities like Startup Weekend and StartLouis.

Vice President at St. Louis Regional Chamber, Jay De Long, said, “…a lot of activity is going on in our T-REx community – like the partnership with COCA Biz to use creative talent to enhance startup management performance, or the launch of SixThirty accelerator. We are quite proud of it all.”

The festivities include drinks and appetizers that will be served from 6-8pm, with cake and toasts at 7:30pm. RSVP here, quick!
